Sarah HollyfordeSarah Hollyforde, MCIPD, MBA.

Sarah is a professionally qualified human resources (HR) manager.  With 30 years of experience working in both the private and public sector, Sarah has worked in many functional areas including technology, operations and management. 

Working with organisations such as; Lloyds TSB, Herman Millar, EDS, Halifax and The Legal Services Commission, Sarah has been involved in a wide range of HR applications, specialising in recruitment, selection, and learning.  Having managed teams of all sizes, permanent and temporary, Sarah brings the benefit of her experiences in people management and her research skills to the subject of motivation (see our publications page for The Motivation Handbook, written by Sarah and Steve).

Steve-Whiddett
Steve WhiddettSteve Whiddett, BSc (Hons), MSc, CPsychol, AFBPsS, MABP.

Steve is a Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, former Chair of the Association for Business Psychology and Managing Director of WHE UK. Between 1991 and 2002, Steve was a consulting Occupational Psychologist and Partner at Pearn Kandola. From 1985 to 1991 Steve was a Senior Psychologist with consultancy and occupational test publishers Saville and Holdsworth (SHL).

 

He is co-author of The Motivation Handbook, The Competencies Handbook, A Practical Guide to Competencies, Tools for Assessment and Development Centres and The Competencies Toolkit. All published by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Steve frequently presents at national and international conferences and has published many articles on performance management, organisational development and change and related topics.

 

Steve has 30 years of consultancy experience supporting organisations such as: Lloyds TSB, Marsh, HBOS, BP, Carlsberg-Tetley, Marks and Spencer, Computacenter, National Air Traffic Services, T-mobile, Sovereign Housing, Stonham Housing, British Gas and many local and regional authorities and central government departments.
